Carolyn S. Faryman, 79, born May 15, 1944, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold and Rowena (Brown) Nowell passed away peacefully at the Kobacker House on June 4, 2023. Carolyn married her best friend, George on November 16, 1974. She was preceded in death by a sister Sarah A. (Sam) McKinley and her true father Charlie McCloud.

She is survived by daughter, Shelley (Jim) Kneece; son, Kevin (Cristin) Bryant; son, Shane Faryman; step-daughter, Betty (Randy) Faryman; stepson, Gary (Darlene) Faryman; stepdaughter, Tammi Tullos; grandchildren, Ethan (Carmyn) Smith; Emma Bryant; Jessica Smith; Tabitha and Zach Faryman; Jeremy Blankenship; great grandchildren Jaela and Mya Ramos; Aubrey, Annabelle, JonJon, Abigail; brother, Gilbert Nowell; mother-in-law Lily Sanders; brother-in-law Jack McKinley; nephew Keith (Irene) McKinley; grand nephews, Michael and Kyle McKinley, many nieces, nephews, and extended family; life-long friends Margo and Jani, and all of her friends, staff and residents alike, at Campbell Place.

Carolyn retired from Big Bear after many years of faithful service in the deli, meat, and cheese shops. She was passionate about watching her shows including Survivor, Golden Girls, Cops, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, The Price is Right, Let's Make a Deal, and anything on the Hallmark Channel. She loved a good time, everything Mickey Mouse, all kinds of music, lottery scratchers, ice cold beer, driving around looking at Christmas lights, and of course Ray's famous homemade yogurt. Carolyn has been known to be described as dynamite in a small package, a one-of-a-kind, sassy-sweet, tough old bird, industrial-strength, unfiltered, and amazing. She was nicknamed Honey, Lady Lou, and Bob. She will be missed by many.

The Faryman family would like to extend a special thank you to the physicians, nurses, and staff at Campbell Place, Ohio Health ICU, and Kobacker House Hospice for their care and support of our entire family in our time of need.
